Surnik Renewable is a Canadian clean energy startup focused on building solar-powered EV charging stations along major highways and offering residential solar EV charging solutions. Our goal is to make charging fast, reliable, and sustainable.
We are currently in the startup and planning stage. We’re finalizing our first two pilot locations and seeking partnerships and funding to bring our vision to life.
Most charging stations rely heavily on the grid, which can be costly and unreliable in some areas. By using solar energy with battery storage, we reduce grid pressure, lower costs, and offer a cleaner alternative that supports Canada’s renewable energy goals.
Both are strategic stops on the Trans-Canada Highway with high traffic volume but limited charging infrastructure. Starting here allows us to test the model in areas where EV drivers truly need reliable charging.
Solar-powered: Our stations generate clean energy onsite.
Battery storage: Keeps chargers running even at night or during peak demand.
Customer experience: Each station will include a kiosk with snacks, drinks, and WiFi.
Rewards system: Drivers earn points every time they charge.
